To this day, I love this CD, Jagged Little Pill. I sort of came across this song by accident yesterday and when I played it I realized something very sad. I may not have been told this as a child, but now, I play the role of both adult and child within this song. No wonder life can seem so confusing when you are at such odds with yourself.

There are some albums that just encapsulate life, in all of its stages. Jagged Little Pill is one of those records.

I watched one of my friends thinking she was living Head Over Feet, when in fact it was a total case of Mary Jane waiting to happen.

And my god did we stamp our feet and shake our hands to You Oughta Know at the rick club. No men on the dance floor, just a sea of females. Angry females.

But my song is probably Hand in My Pocket. I love it. It's perfect. We all have a perfect song :-) (even if they're not always happy).

GD - I was wondering who Rick was. I mean, he had his own club and all. ;) Mary Jane was excellent as was Not the Doctor, Forgiven, and Wake Up. And Right Thru You. Man, so many feelings on one CD. I'm going to have to play that today. We all let out anger with You Outta Know - it was cathartic. Then some of us actually went on to hear the rest of what she had to belt out. I still remember her (and her brother Alistair) from Nickelodeon! Er, maybe that's where she met Rick, of famed club ownership... ? =)
