I lived! Yay, a bonus!

This will be quick. Thank you for your support from the surgery, Dr. Charm/Dr. Prick (he has many names...) and checking in when I disappear. So, here's the scoop. Things are all in place from surgery, all reports came back fine. Wheeeewh! I rested, or shall I say that I passed out daily for long lengths of time with a hearty gusto. I quite enjoyed it. Overlapping this procedure was the official diagnosis of Trigeminal Neuralgia. This is pure hell. I've included a link. The little video shows a super-quick surgery but if you read into symptoms, etc it'll give you an idea. I could barely get in and out of the car two days post-op and there I was at the neurologist for this. So read on that a bit and I should be back on the weekend. Perhaps the new meds will continue to help without breakthrough episodes. Hope all is well with you and I'll surely see you soon! xoxo =)

ok I started to read about it - but then became afraid I would get it by reading too much haaaa!!

anyway I'm SO glad you have an actual diagnosis and that they didn't just say 'woman + mystery pain = wacko/hormones/overweight' !!!

Kitty - but the best is the little video..heehee! And I so agree with you about the 'typical' diagnosis. Ok ok, already - so I ate too many PopTarts in 8th grade and I have hormones but really - does that explain my sore elbow?! It does? Oh, ok. Ahhh, fun isn't it? Great to know our actual health is of no consequence. Perhaps I lucked out this time?? And if you get it, you'll know it. It will most likely be the worst, most confusing pain in your life that just ambushes you out of nowhere. Hey... kind of like those extra PopTarts in 8th grade...

Renee - I'm feeling almost fully back to normal, thank you. I think I could have done without the snow shoveling this morning but if I wanted to get to work, I had to do it. Nothing popped out of my body so I guess it's ok! =)

Yay! I'm so glad you made it through this, that you have a diagnosis, and...I hope...that everything will eventually be better and better in everyway.

Anonant - Healing and being well, sounds so simple yet is often such a challenge. But I'm up for it! ;) Funny thing you should mention my words - I have so many aching to come out lately.

Jarvenpa - I am glad as well. Beyond glad. It does not go away, rather, it gets worse over time. Now that I know what it is, I'm better equipped and informed! I can handle this. The pain is unspeakable when it comes and I fear it's return. But being informed and knowing my options, no matter how extreme, gives me strength to get through it. Thank you for your thoughts. =)

KT - Is there anyone else you know that has so many goofy things wrong with them... lol. Thanks for the good thoughts!

Gino - Holy shit, dude! Pardon my crassness but I thought I lost you. Yay! You're here! =) What a nice surprise... thanks for stopping in. I look forward to catching up with you down there in the world of warmth!

GD - Oh no, all whining, bitching, complaining, and especially moaning and groaning about it is always fair game. =) The good thing is that as females, we get to do that once a month and we can add in all the other points in our lives that aren't quite spot on and blame it on that. It serves as quite a nice outlet... =)
